Business Intelligence Developer:
a. Minimum 10 years of experience in Cognos BI Architecture and Design, Development and Implementation of security at FM Model, Package and Report Level.
b. Proficient in Data warehousing, Data Analysis, Source to Target Mapping, Multidimensional modeling and Relational modeling, Star schema, Snowflake schema, Fact and dimension tables and ETL Processes.
c. Experience with installation and configuration of Cognos suite of tools is required.
d. Experience in Cognos 11x Framework and Report Development, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio. OLAP and Dimensional Modelling techniques.
e. Experience in applying data visualization best practices and tell stories through data visuals and reports to inform the who, what, when, where, and how to be able to understand the key factors driving positive outcomes.
f. Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts and advanced knowledge of using database query language (SQL), using scripting / SDK to extend Cognos Capabilities as needed.
g. Experience or Knowledge of other reporting tools like Power BI, Azure analysis service or tableau preferred.
h. Proficiency in implementing Cognos best practices for performance optimization, architecture, turning, monitoring.
i. Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis.
j. Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related fields.
