CBTS has partnered with a client in the Cincinnati, OH area to identify a Disaster Recovery Analyst on a 6 month contract with extensions/possible conversion. This role is going to be a HYBRID setup being on site in the Cincinnati, OH area 2 days/wk.

Role summary:
Govern and support application contingency planning by documenting technical dependencies, validating recovery strategies (datacenter/cloud/backup), coordinating DR testing, and driving remediation with application and infrastructure teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with application owners and infrastructure teams to map technical dependencies (servers, DBs, network, backups).
- Support development and maintenance of application DR/contingency plans.
- Assist in defining/validating recovery strategies (alternate datacenter, cloud failover, backup/restore).
- Coordinate DR tests, follow up on findings, and drive remediation of issues flagged by reporting tools.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture/cloud concepts to non-technical stakeholders; own a portfolio of applications.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years in DR, systems support, technical operations, or related roles.
- Technical familiarity with servers, databases, backup/replication, networking, and cloud concepts.
- Experience working with application and infrastructure teams in large enterprises; DR testing experience preferred.
- Banking/regulatory experience is a plus.
