Industrial Electrician
Location: Perrysburg, Ohio
Pay: $20–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends may be required)
Travel: 20–30%, primarily domestic; international travel may occasionally be required. Travel and meal expenses covered. This will take affect once the probationary period is complete
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with proven electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems on machinery, including terminating panels, wiring per blueprints, and calibrating machines both on-site and at customer facilities. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential, as this role requires regular interaction with clients and collaboration with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers, for proper operation.
Interpret and apply electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to complete projects accurately.
Use hand and power tools, as well as testing devices, to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on industrial equipment.
Upgrade machinery with modern control systems and calibrate equipment to meet specifications.
Complete work orders on schedule and maintain accurate records of materials used.
Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting jacks and plugs.
Work independently or as part of a team to successfully complete projects while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical degree preferred.
2–5 years of electrician experience, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
Strong understanding of electrical systems; knowledge of machine control hardware and pneumatics is a plus.
Ability to read and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel 20–30% for short-term assignments.
