Industrial Electrician | Coopersville, MI

Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions in machinery and production lines.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Test electrical systems and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), VFDs, and motor control circuits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and machinery.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial control components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations, including NFPA 70E.
• Experience with 3-phase power systems (up to 480V) and motor control circuits.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
• Certification in NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) installation and programming.
• Familiarity with industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
