Interior Designer
ELD Architecture is seeking a talented Interior Designer with strong design skills and attention to detail to join our team. Applicants shall have 5+ years of relevant experience working on custom residential projects. The new team member will support projects throughout New England helping our firm continue its growth trajectory. We offer competitive pay and a flexible schedule. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suites in a professional office required; Enscape a plus
Self-motivated, able to work independently and under supervision
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Proficiency in graphic design and construction technology
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
Advanced knowledge of construction documents and millwork drawings and details
Experience with design vendors and resources
In depth knowledge of furniture, lighting, design materials, and industry standards
Job Description
Support in all phases of architectural and interior design
Create construction drawings sets including floor plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, interior elevations
Assist in the selection process of tile, lighting, plumbing, hardware, etc., ensuring they align with the project’s design direction and client requirements
Create and maintain design schedules such as lighting, plumbing, finishes, etc.
Procurement: request quotes, create proposals & purchase orders
Coordinate and assist with installations & scheduling
Administrative office tasks and marketing support
Assist in visiting vendors and showrooms to collect samples and review material options
Materials library maintenance
