Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile IT Generalist who thrives in a dynamic environment and can independently take ownership of IT initiatives across systems, infrastructure, and light networking. This is a hands-on, self-directed role supporting a highly collaborative leader who is managing a growing workload and needs a trusted go-to technical resource.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Administration:

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID environments

  • Support user provisioning, policy management, and identity-related tasks

• Infrastructure & Compute Support:

  • Maintain virtualized environments (VMware preferred)

  • Provide basic server, storage, and backup support

  • Troubleshoot compute-related issues and escalate when necessary

• Networking (Light Touch):

  • Provide basic support for networking issues (routing, switching, connectivity)

  • Work with external partners (e.g., Vortek) for escalated network tasks

• Project Ownership:

  • Take initiative to own and resolve assigned tasks or projects without micromanagement

  • Support cross-functional technology projects and help streamline IT operations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT experience , ideally in a small-to-mid-size environment

• Strong generalist with depth in at least one of the following: systems, compute/infrastructure, or networking

• Comfortable working independently, proactively solving problems, and keeping leadership informed

• Collaborative, adaptable, and able to shift gears quickly based on changing priorities

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into user-friendly language
