Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. The ideal candidate will be skilled in addressing a range of relationship dynamics and mental health issues using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions to promote emotional and relational well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations for new clients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families experiencing relational and emotional difficulties
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Stay current with continuing education and best practices in marriage and family therapy
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and training sessions
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and ethical standards of practice

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in State
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (preferred but not always required)
• Strong understanding of family systems theory, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health settings
• Bilingual (English and Spanish or other language
• Training in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, EFT, DBT, EMDR)
