Setting: Emergency Department (Community hospital, non-trauma)
Responsibilities: Autonomously managing ED patients in a 44-bed ED with fast track (40% of volume); responding to house codes; airway management
Required Procedures: Emergency care procedures (specific procedures not listed)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 2 ED physicians on each shift, 11 total in group; consultants include radiology, critical care, cardiology, pulmonology, GI, neuro, urology, hem/onc, psych
Days Per Month: TBD
On-Call/Weekends: Varied shifts, weekend coverage may be required
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified PA (No new grads) – REQUIRED
Active Massachusetts License – REQUIRED
ACLS/BLS – REQUIRED
