Job Summary:

You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. With little supervision diagnose and repair most electrical and plumbing malfunction that would normally occur within a home or small business. Perform maintenance tasks that require minimum skills to correct deficiencies occurring to the interior and exterior of the building structure, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Night shifts are also required for this position.

  • Starting Wage: $19/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance and tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Help maintain an adequate inventory of materials, equipment and tools required to perform routine tasks without delays.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner in a safe environment.
  • May be required to work different shift schedules including night shift.
  • Must clean up your job site and work area when finished with the assigned task.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of materials, equipment and tools on the work trucks required to perform routine tasks without delays.
  • Float and finish Sheetrock walls and install wall coverings.
  • Perform painting duties.
  • Maintenance Department staff members will be assigned other technical work within the department when maintenance crises occur within the company or work in their particular technical field is temporarily or permanently reduced.   • Night shifts are also required for this position 

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma/ GED
  • Have experience in training and working with an electrician or plumber maintaining plumbing for water and sewer systems and equipment. Or have two years experience maintaining facilities for the hospitality industry, schools or hospitals.
  • Commercial painting experience
  • Valid drivers license & Successful MVR completion
  • Good communication skills
  • Provide own hand tools as per attached list

Preferred:

  • Basic plumbing and electrical skills
