The Talent Mine is looking for an experience PC Installer/Technician for an immediate 2 month contract to potential hire role as a multi facility housing community. This is for an established and highly reputable organization that is going thru a modernization effort for their office staff, in a multi-location senior living facility in the Redmond and Gig Harbor areas. We need a technician that is self-guided, builds immediate trust and warmth with the internal staff, and wants to deliver a high touch/low stress PC migration experience. Overview:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and reliable PC Installer to support a medium-scale deployment project in a Microsoft Windows-based environment (several hundred users). This contract role is ideal for someone experienced in hardware setup, imaging, and end-user workstation deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Unbox, set up, and install Windows-based PCs and peripherals (monitors, docking stations, keyboards, etc.)
• Perform system imaging and configuration according to company standards
• Migrate user profiles and data as needed
• Ensure each workstation is fully operational and network-connected
• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware or connectivity issues
• Collaborate with IT team for ticket tracking and progress updates
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during deployments

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with PC installation and hardware setup as well as using imaging tools for automated setups
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 imaging and deployment tools
• Strong with Office365 and moving files from local drives to the cloud
• Basic knowledge of networking and peripheral troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Excellent communication and time-management skills, to schedule and synchronize installs with the staff
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move equipment safely
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work onsite in Redmond & Gig Harbor

Bonus:

• Experience working in a corporate or enterprise IT environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM or Autopilot (a plus)
