Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced printing press machinist to join a high-performing production team in Minneapolis, MN! This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining printing press equipment while ensuring each job meets precise quality standards. Location : Minneapolis, MN

Wage : $25.00 – $29.00/hour (based on experience)

Hours : Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | (12-hour shifts as needed)

Duties of the printing press machinist:

• Set up and run printing press equipment according to job specs and production requirements
• Read and interpret job tickets to verify materials, components, and setup details
• Oversee press operations to maintain consistent quality and workflow efficiency
• Conduct continuous in-process inspections to catch defects such as scratches, misprints, denting, or alignment issues
• Document production details and complete shift paperwork accurately
• Provide guidance and direction to a press helper assigned to your machine
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on press machinery
• Troubleshoot production issues using appropriate tools and methods
• Maintain a clean and safe operating area while adhering to all company safety procedures

Requirements of the printing press machinist:

• Previous experience operating printing presses or similar industrial machinery is valuable
• Strong mechanical skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete production documentation
• Comfortable working within tight tolerances and performing detailed quality checks
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (and occasionally up to 100 lbs)
• Need to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• High school diploma or GED - required
• 12-hour shift as needed per production needs - required
