Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis / Infusion
Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326
Contract Duration: 3+ months (extendable)

Pay Rate: $2,577.96 per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with dialysis/infusion experience to join a dynamic healthcare team in Cooperstown, NY. The RN will provide direct patient care, including administering specialty infusions, performing IV starts, patient intake, and ongoing education. This role is best suited for nurses who thrive in an outpatient infusion environment but also brings value from hospital-based infusion experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer specialty infusions, including biologics, autoimmune medications, iron, and other specialty therapies (GI, Rheumatology, Neurology).
• Perform daily IV starts and occasional port access.
• Conduct lab draws, patient intake, and pre-medication administration as appropriate.
• Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and aftercare.
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients during and after infusion for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility policies.
• Follow infection control, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact license if applicable).
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience (infusion or dialysis preferred).

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA required)
• ACLS

Preferred Experience

• Outpatient infusion nursing experience.
• Hospital-based infusion nursing experience considered acceptable.
