Job Description

  • ONSITE - Charlotte, NC 28217.
  • Contract to Hire as a W2 employee of Talent Groups.
  • We’re looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to help guide this client’s agile transformation. You’ll play a key role in leading and optimizing Agile Release Trains (ARTs), enabling teams across the globe to deliver innovative, customer-focused digital experiences.

    This is a strategic and hands-on role — you’ll coach, facilitate, and continuously improve how teams deliver value. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams to ensure smooth, predictable delivery while fostering a culture of collaboration and relentless improvement.

    What You’ll Do

    • Coach teams and stakeholders in Lean-Agile practices and SAFe principles
    • Facilitate PI Planning and other key ART ceremonies
    • Ensure alignment of vision, roadmap, and program backlogs across teams
    • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments
    • Capture and analyze flow metrics to drive continuous improvement
    • Support communication and alignment between product management, business owners, and technical teams
    • Help build a one-team mindset across global engineering groups
    • Foster and grow the Scrum Master and Agile Communities of Practice

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams in a SAFe environment
    • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks (certifications welcome)
    • Proven ability to facilitate PI Planning and manage multiple ARTs
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
    • Experience coaching teams , improving flow, and resolving complex impediments
    • Ability to collaborate with global, distributed teams across time zones
    • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and practical problem-solving

    Nice to Have

    • SPC (SAFe Practice Consultant) certification
    • Experience building or scaling Agile transformations in retail, payments, or customer-journey-driven environments
