Across the globe and the nation, a few notable projects include the US Coast Guard Maritime Patrol Hanger on Cape Cod, Security Barrier Systems, Lakenheath England; Seismic Repairs, Alcatraz Island; Ahwahnee Hotel Restoration, Yosemite National Park:USCG Hurricane Repairs, San Juan Puerto Rico; Air Force Academy Field House Renovation, Colorado Springs, CO;, and multiple security upgrades for U.S. Embassy's across the globe. **_Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent_** **DESCRIPTION:** **Responsibilities** + Reports to the Project Manager for project/operational issues and administratively to the Division Safety Manager + Assist with the development and implementation of Activity Hazard Analyses + Coordinates the project's safety effort and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures included in the Site Specific Safety Plan. + Attends all pre-construction meetings to provide guidance for the pre-planning of work activities, ensure that employees have required training + Provide training to employees and subcontractors, as necessary + Facilitate the project safety orientation program and ensure that all employees attend prior to working on-site + Attend and participate in weekly safety meetings, assist in resolving safety questions and ensure that the meetings are productive and practical + Perform daily safety inspections of trades/work areas and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they are discovered. Submit a written report to the Division Safety Manager on a weekly basis + Conduct a monthly site wide safety stand-down + Assists with accident/incident investigation. Reviews reports to ensure that investigations are complete and that preventative measures are in place + Review all safety documentation to ensure records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures + Issue all required permits (confined space entry, hot work, etc.) to subcontractors as necessary + Coordinate and accompany all project safety audits by the client, owner, insurance or other safety representatives **Requirements** + USACE EM 385-1-1 experience + Possess either a CSP or CHST + Five+ years of continuous experience as a construction site safety manager + Completed the OSHA 30 Hr. + Maintained competency through having taken 8 hours of documented training every year for past 5 years + Documented training in the flowing areas: fall protection (24-hours), confined space entry, excavation/trenching, scaffolding, cranes and rigging, etc. **_Perini Management Services builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
