Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. Job Description



NBCU’s Telemundo Enterprises is seeking a Senior Analyst who blends strong analytical expertise with a product-focused mindset to drive insights across cross-platform content performance. This role supports both content analytics and the development of scalable data products. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Editorial, Marketing, Programming, and Streaming teams to deliver high-impact insights, build reporting tools, and inform strategic decisions for brands, tentpole events, and franchises. This position plays a key role in transforming data into accessible, actionable intelligence that empowers stakeholders’ company-wide.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver actionable insights on cross-platform performance to support content strategy across Editorial, Marketing, Programming, and Streaming.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and data tools that enable self-service analytics and performance tracking.
  • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into requirements for scalable analytics solutions, partnering with BI and engineering teams.
  • Present insights through clear storytelling, data visualizations, and executive-level presentations.
  • Lead ad-hoc analyses to address time-sensitive questions and uncover emerging trends.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage centralized data repositories to support efficient reporting and insight generation.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the analytics and data product roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in media analytics, preferably within streaming, digital, or broadcast environments.
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience using queries to automate data workflows and support scalable reporting solutions.
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics (Reports & Analytics, Analysis Workspace) and familiar with third-party tools like ComScore, Shareablee, ListenFirst, or Talkwalker.
  • Skilled in data visualization and storytelling using tools using tools such as Tableau, Domo, or Excel.
  • Comfortable working with native social analytics platforms (e.g., YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, TikTok, X/Twitter).
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable reporting solutions and collaborating with BI or data engineering teams.
  • Strong attention to data quality, with the ability to troubleshoot inconsistencies and ensure accuracy.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus.
