Job Description

Entelligence is seeking a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in the VMware stack, particularly NSX and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) , to support a fast-moving client project in Mexico. Working under the direction of a lead Architect, this role will execute the hands-on design, configuration, testing, and production implementation of critical VMware infrastructure across multiple data centers.

• Participate in Discovery and Design workshops, then build and configure a Lab Environment to validate solutions.
• Implement the current VMware configuration in the lab, add Edge and Tier-0 router, and verify transition to active/active with no downtime.
• Validate failover functionality for both Tier-0 and Tier-1 environments, adjusting the plan as needed to ensure reliability.
• Conduct Acceptance Testing with the client and support readiness for production deployment.
• Implement and activate new Edge in Tier-0 production, reproducing and validating the design in the Mexico City Data Center.

• Work will be completed during both normal and after-business hours.
• On-site access will be required at Mexico City and Esparto Data Centers.
• Current environment includes:
• TKG version 1.2.0
• NSX version 4.1.2
• ~230 VMs per data center

• Proven expertise with VMware NSX (v4.x) and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid .
• Strong background in VMware-based infrastructure and virtualization at enterprise scale.
• Experience with edge services, routing (Tier-0/Tier-1), and active/active deployments.
• Ability to perform acceptance testing and validate production readiness in client-facing environments.
• Comfortable working both independently and under architect-led direction.
• Willingness to work on-site and flexibly during and after business hours.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
