Position: API Healthcare Timekeeping/Scheduling Configuration Consultant

Location: 100% Remote (HQ: Rancho Cordova, CA)

Duration: 3 6 months (Phase 1 of 3 could extend up to 1 year for the right person)

Project Overview:
CommonSpirit Health is in the process of migrating to UKG for their Timekeeping and Scheduling system . To support this transition, they need 2 experienced contractors to backfill daily operations for their current API Healthcare system , while their FTE team focuses on the multi-phase UKG testing project.

You will be trained by the current team on API Healthcare's daily processes before they shift to UKG testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the API Healthcare Timekeeping and Scheduling system for daily configuration requests and reporting.
• Process configuration requests received via the Service Management Ticketing system and coordinate with Payroll/HR for approvals or clarifications.
• Configure business rules in the system for pay change requests, union/regulatory updates, and state regulatory changes for full-time, part-time, and contract staff.
• Ensure configurations align with all compliance, union, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the legacy system while the UKG migration project progresses.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with API Healthcare Timekeeping and Scheduling configuration and support.
• Ability to interpret and implement complex business rules for pay, union, or regulatory changes.
• Experience working with Service Management Ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with collaborating across Payroll and HR teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
• Availability to work EST business hours and pass a background check prior to start.
