Job Summary:

The Architect with a focus on sales enablement will be a key member of the technology team, acting as a technical liaison to the sales organization. This individual will be responsible for architecting and designing robust technology solutions while also empowering the sales team to articulate the value and functionality of these solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling sales propositions. A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging Toppan Merrill's proprietary "Storefront" sales enablement platform to enhance sales effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Strategy:

  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly within the FinTech and regulatory compliance landscape, to inform solution design.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to Toppan Merrill's engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Sales Enablement & Support:

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management to understand client needs and develop tailored technical solutions and demonstrations.
  • Create and maintain a repository of technical documentation, presentations, and other collateral for use by the sales team.
  • Train the sales team on the technical aspects of new products and features, with a focus on how they solve specific customer problems.
  • Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the "Toppan Merrill Storefront" platform, demonstrating its capabilities to both internal teams and prospective clients.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect, Solutions Architect, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as C#, .NET Core, and Angular.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
  • Expertise in designing and working with Microsoft SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with automated code quality analysis and secure coding practices.
  • Experience in performance troubleshooting and providing effective solutions.

Experience and Skills in Sales Enablement:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting a sales team in a technical capacity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Experience in creating sales enablement materials such as white papers, case studies, and technical presentations.

Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Prior experience in the financial services or regulatory compliance industry is a significant advantage.
