Job Description:

• Smile and Have Fun while you are working
• Get along with your team members
• Entertain your guests and make them want to come back for you
• Mix all drinks according to Kanki recipes
• Must be able to offer suggestions of alcohol, beer, wine, and sake to our guests
• Have full knowledge of Kanki's Steak and Sushi Menu
• Have a general knowledge of Sakes (We can teach you)
• Serve alcohol in accordance with North Carolina ABC laws
• Be willing to learn the use of our Aloha POS system

What we need from you:

• Great customer service skills with the ability to multi-task when needed
• Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in a busy setting
• Be able to lift and maneuver large oval serving trays weighing up to 30lbs
• Help put away deliveries
• Have reliable transportation, telephone number, and email
• Have at least one year's bartending experience in a fast-paced full-service bar

THE KANKI EXPERIENCE
When you visit of our Raleigh-Durham restaurants, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and seated at a large table surrounding one of our teppan grills.
Next, you’ll choose drinks, starters, sushi, hibachi and more from our extensive menu. All teppanyaki dishes will be made-to-order, and our chefs will prepare your hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops, along with rice and a selection of veggies, right in front of your eyes.
Of course, half of the fun is watching our chefs as they expertly chop, dice and cook your meal with the flip of a knife, providing mealtime entertainment your whole table is sure to enjoy!
