Job Description

Our Village Caregiving office located in Batesville, IN, is seeking a compassionate, experienced, dedicated caregiver for in-home care to provide essential care and support to individuals in need in the Milan, IN area. Certification is preferred however not required. This is a part-time with full-time opportunity, hourly Monday-Friday position no weekends! The individual in this role will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they care for, providing companionship and assistance with activities of daily living. Among other clientele, we primarily serve our nation's veterans. Help us help them age in place! Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene/bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report any changes in client's behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping software to accurately clock in/out of shifts and submit necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Clear background check
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.
