Are you an early bird or a night owl? - Mindset by Pinky

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I was reading an article about sleep recently and I found it quite interesting.

Are you a lark or an owl?

Are you are ‘snoozer’ or a ‘jump out of bed’ kind of person?

How do you get a better night’s sleep regardless of the fact that you are an early bird or a night owl?

It’s a matter of choice.

Question is… How does this lifestyle choice impact you?

Your performance
Your productivity
Your energy levels

Both being an early bird or a night owl have their own strengths and weaknesses. And if you are a night person you can’t become a morning person, apparently.

Well I disagree.

Here’s why…

Along with a sleep-friendly bedroom environment creating the right mindset is key to getting quality sleep.

Have you noticed that when you are anxious or feeling stressed, your heart rate increases, which causes you to overthink, making you far too stimulated to sleep? To make matters worse, an active brain triggers even more worries, so it’s even harder to sleep.
Guaranteed to keep you up all night.

NLP has helped my clients with anxiety and here’s what Lucy says about her sleep…

“I decided to engage in coaching with Pinky because of my anxiety and lack of confidence in my business. Pinky helped me realise and understand an issue I was having and she took me through a wonderful trance where I felt safe, happy and clear. It took 15 minutes and I feel calmer and I have been getting the best sleep I have had in years. Pinky is honestly one of the most inspirational people I have met. Highly recommend her”

Ask yourself, What else is effecting your sleep?

Along with taking care of your mental health, nutrition and exercise, a decent nights sleep is one of the key pillars of health. You cant achieve optimal health without taking care of your sleep. Fall short and it will affect your energy levels, your productivity, your emotional balance and make you gain weight.
Unhealthy daytime habits and life choices can keep you up all night and affect your mind and your mood. What you think, what you eat, what kind of exercise you have done, if any.

You can choose to change how you think and improve the way you feel everyday.
